Hello everyone. I am Urdal, but you can all call me Bottom. My real name is Mike, I am 30 years old and live in STL. My wife, Verveine, and I just had a baby 1 month ago, baby girl named Sofia. We've been doing the MMO thing for about 8 or 9 years now. For the past 4 we have been 7 day a week WoW players. We are raiders through and through. At one time 7 day a week raiders and for the past 2 years 4-5 days a week. It's pretty awesome to be part of this Kin and really hope, at one time, to contribute to killing some bosses
In our real life, we tend to stick at home, hence our MMO obsession. But occasionally we like to hit the brewery (We are HUGE beer buffs, and not AB...yuck). We are also HUGE music people. We have traveled with the Dave Matthews Band for a few years. We typically only see them once or twice a year now =/ On the same token, we have seen TooL probably 10 times or so. So we like all kinds of music.
We hope to stick around here for awhile. We grew really tired with WoW and their lack of innovation. Everything seemed to have been 'dumbed' down drastically the past year and the new xpac seems to follow that path. At the urge of my friend, Chordz, I decided to give LOTRO a try and I have to admit, I am hooked. I pre-ordered 2 copies and as soon as our 3 month subs are up we are planning on buying 2 lifetimes. It's a great game and we are having a blast, abeit briefly due to new baby.
I hope to get to know all of you, and you all me, in the next weeks-months-years. If you ever need a Champ (Lvl 18 atm) for anything, don't hesitate to ask. I realize I am probably pretty useless right now, but if any of you guys or girls have alts that need work on any books just let me know.
